An aftercooler reduces the temperature of compressed air after compression. Compare Machinery Resale's equipment with the compressor output and the requirements of the downstream air treatment.
What to compare
Check rated air flow, working pressure, inlet temperature and the cooling arrangement. Ask how condensate is separated and drained in the proposed setup. Cooling alone does not establish the final air quality required by every application.
Select the complete setup
Confirm which fans, separators and fittings are included with the offered unit. Describe the compressor and the equipment being supplied when enquiring. That makes it possible to assess the aftercooler within the installation instead of choosing by physical size alone.
