A compressed air filter should be chosen for the contaminant it needs to remove. Compare Machinery Resale's filters and housings with the air-quality requirements of your installation.
What to compare
Identify the filter type and grade, rated flow and working pressure. Check whether the listing includes the correct element and whether its condition is known. A housing alone does not demonstrate the filtration performance of a complete unit.
Select the complete setup
Ask about connections, pressure loss and condensate drainage where applicable. Explain the process being supplied and any upstream dryer or separator. Do not treat a general air filter as proof of suitability for a specialised air-quality requirement.
